So I've had my car for about 6 months now and everything has been amazing. Since I've had the car I've always reset my odometer to keep track of how my gas milage is doing. But just recently in the past month for some reason when I start my car the odometer automatically resets itself and all the gages go all the way max and back down to idle. I have no idea what may be causing it. It's not a huge problem, more of an anoyance than anything, but it wasn't doing it for the first 5 months. Anyone have any ideas?

 

I've heard of gauges acting funny from a bad battery.

yep check your battery would be the safest bet.
