Im refering to the metal thing that looks like its broken

ok arrow your stupid. lol just kiddin. so i see a exhaust shield that is normal but could look broken to a layman and i see a crack in the exhaust manifold but that may be a casting thing. are you hearing anything out of the ordinary. and yah point to the area in question.

 

If it does have a crack you should replace it

 

Yes its like a little metal aganst metal coming from the car the exhaust shield is what I was talking about and where do you see the exhaust manifold leak? Maybe i can take a better picture so its easier to point out?

 

Looks like the heat shield has been removed at one time. You need to remove them to change out the plugs, and sometimes they dont remove nicely.

Ya got me, I do see it now, if he's talking about the heat shield. I don't see the crack in the manifold at all.

 

im pretty sure its a casting mark. in a picture they can look like a crack. under/around the base of the shield mount right along where there should be casting slag or mark. could just be the picture. important question is, are you hearing an exhaust leak?

 

Good lord man, is that a factory exhaust manifold? Is that what those look like?
