Default Price check 94 Z with 6 speed

Hey all,

Have a quick question,

94 Z28, 70K miles, borg/warner 6 speed, oversized throttlebody, power programmer, catback system, aftermarket but functional ram air hood...the skip shift command programmed in, i can't remember the rest, but i've drove the car back in the day, when i was in high school, it's been off the road since then in storage basically.

BUT it's glass was broke, there is only 1 T top that is ok.

I've seen that the LT1/BW 6 speed is getting pretty hard to find, and she said she'd let me buy it, she's been sitting on it just simply because she doesn't have to sell it, but I would drive it, purple or not, I love that car, and therefore would pay just about anything for it.

So, what is this thing actually worth? I REALLY want it, and that's why I'm asking, I don't want to be blinded by my sheer lust and pay way more than it's worth.

thanks in advance, and after I get some replies, I'll let you all know what she said i could buy it for

Your going to have to research your area. Prices vary depending on supply and demand. Purple ones are the hardest to move around me. How long has it been in storage. Storage can be hard on a car. Seals can get hard, tires and hoses dry rot.

Assuming it is in great shape and runs great with no leaks then I would say $4500-5000 would be a good price from a private seller As is. It is not hard to spend $800 for a set of 4 good tires so keep that in mind.

That would be a retail price for it. If you want it and she really doesn't have to sell it that's pretty much dead on what Gorn said. I WOULD deduct for glass and reconditioning etc. to be fair though. T-top couple hundred, windshield $150 etc.

It all depends on location and 6 speed cars are usually harder to find. In my area you can't find an M6 with no issues for less than $5,000 stock. Check the KBB.com private party value. Add $500 for the mods.

use NADA.com when you want to buy, KBB when you want to SELL! lol
I bought mine for $4200. Hit up northern state craigslists right after the snows start for best prices

well i'm in the tit of iowa, right on iowa and illinois and missouri. i've known her since i was a kid, and i've known the car since it was a kid lol she got it when it was like 2, maybe newer than that.

she said 5, and it's been ran, and drove, just not out and about, it's been drove point to point when it's went from a storage shed to a garage and to another shed, and to a garage, it still runs.. i have not seen it tho, and it's been probably 4 years since i have.

she told me 5, which i thought was pretty good, i know she paid 12 for it back in the day cause she bent the dude over she bought it from, and then put in a couple grand with exhaust and the computer and whatnot.

are the 6 speeds getting hard hard to find? this one is right up my alley for what i'd want, color aside.. but if it's going to take me twelve years to find another one, i'll try to make a move on this one
