i know the filter is only like 15 bucks but is there anything i can run thru it to help clean it out i am completely broke like all i have is an ashtray full of change maybe 3 bucks lol god i need a job

bc i have been caught out in the middle of nowhere and had to reuse a plugged filter, just shook it as i dumped it out and reinstalled. worked to get us outa the woods. i waited a couple weeks before i remembered to change it. lol.

how old are your plugs? fuel pump failing should act like its running out of gas and not go when you punch it.

tried to clean out the filter it was pretty clean just what looked like a little sand but the car still is running like ****

It does act like it's running out of gas, but only if im pressing lightly on the peddle. If i force it, it responds better, not sure why. I've been told it was the fuel pump when I had it checked for the hesitation.
