Default power windows interchangeable? please help

Hey guys, i have a 1993 camaro z28 and both of my window motors are burnt up. I also have a 1987 camaro and was wondering if i could take the window motors out of the 87 and put them in the 93 but im not sure if they would fit that year, does anyone know? Thanks!

Rick's First Gen catalog shows regulators for '82-92 as one part number and '93-97 as another. However, the actual power window motor has the same part number for '82 to 02.

get some new window motors there like 30 bucks for both i think

easy to install just drill out the rivets and be sure to use short bolts in place of these lol huge time saver

do not remove the entire window! youll find a way to make something go wrong (like accidentally shattering it on your girlfriend and having to spend an hour picking glass from between her toes lol)

Yea these go out all the time on all frameless windows. best thing to do is get new ones not used. That's why I got camaro without power locks and windows then converted using aftermarket parts.

Yeah just get some from advance auto, don't buy the whole regulator though, big waste of cash
