Default Power Windows. HELP!!!

OK so I have a/c but I like to roll down the windows ever once in a while. But my motors (both sides) are GONE. My driver side window it partial cracked and lately it's been raining in FL. I've been trying to pull on the dang thing to fix the crack but I can't. Anyone have an idea (besides buying a motor) on how I can fix this? I said screw it, I'll use a/c. It's TOO hot here anyways to roll down the windows. HELP ME!

check the switch. check the connection at the switch also check your fuses. ussually the motor will work a little before it overheats and stops. did they both quit at the same time?

The 95 I'm looking at also has a driver's window issue. The motor grinds but the window doesn't move. I'm not thinking it's going to be an easy fix or a cheap one either..

the motor change really isnt all that bad. easier than changing plug wires. go here and read it over.

I know you said you didn't want to buy new motors.

Possibly buy some used ones from a junk yard? Might do the trick until you can buy new ones.

You could probably pull the inside door panel and remove the motor then push the window up. Then put the motor back in but that is alot of work to do if you are not going to replace the motor at the same time. I don't know of any other way to get the window up since it is gear driven by the motor.

alright this is really weird now...i was messing around a few days ago with the switches and the window started to roll down, then i quick pushed the up button and it rolled up...still a little crack but better then before...i also started to hear like a weird noise coming from the dash...almost like a clicking...anyone have an idea what this could be? i checked the fuses and their all fine...i think it might be the switch it self...and if it is, is there anyway to by pass the switch and roll it up completely?

the noise could be the express down modual. to hot wire the up wire on the switch in my book for a 93 shows the brown wire as hot and the grey wire as up for the driver side window. dont let the day end without voting for your fav rotm car. go to the rotm page and vote.
