Thanks! For being a 20+ year old car, it really is in pretty decent shape. It had a laundry list of small things that needed fixing, as well as that list of things I want to do to it, but overall it's a great daily! It definitely beats the 65' Bug I sold in order to by it

Almost 124k, but I'll be racking them up! It gets much better gas mileage than my Silverado 2500 with a 6 liter, haha.

Haha, I hear ya! With my truck, loaded or empty, I get 11 consistently and sometimes 12 if I'm lucky. Most days at work I average 50 miles or so, which wasn't bad when they were paying for gas. Since the energy industry bottomed out, it gets little tougher to justify driving a 3/4 ton truck empty with just me that many miles a day. The best part is, it just so happens I was able to get my dream car and have it be my daily.

I have a '78 GMC square body that I love, had it about 20 years but don't drive it much anymore. High Sierra 2500 4X4 with a mild built 454 big block/T-400 automatic and 4:56 gears. 6" lift with 36" Swampers,Warn winch etc. She gets about 9mpg downhill with a good tailwind. lol
I love the old beast though so I keep it around.
