I'll go down the road it runs fine I'll get back in it crank it up and it starts running bad like it's not getting no gas will stall out but stay runing give it gas it sounds like it's got a stutter box and has a smells like I've got bad fuel in there for about a year but its new . AND sometimes reduced engine power light comes on and it'll only idle up to about 2,000 RPM I can cut it off let it sit there for a minute and it'll crank right back up runs fine....so I need help with this problem

 

Well first things first, year and model of car needs to be known.

Hopefully some of the more knowledgeable members will chime in soon but my first thought is maybe a plugged up catalytic convertor .
I don't know much about the V-6 cars but I've had a plugged cat cause those symptoms on other cars.

 

Fuel pump/injector(s) failing or ICM/Coil failing would be my starting points.

Check fuel pressure and you can remove the ICM and have a parts store test it if they have the equipment (and know how to use it).

If cat is clogged you'll get a rotten egg smell and it'll usually glow after the cars been running for a while.

 

get a scanner on it and see what trouble codes come up. stop by local parts store, they should be able to scan for you. let us know what codes come up, write em down.
