Question Please help

I could really use some help here. I recently became the owner of a 95 Camaro and it has been running fine until now. I drove it to work Saturday with no issues, but when i went to start it it became rough idling and stalling out. The fuel pump was replaced about 3 months ago. Is it possible that it could just be out of fuel? The fuel gauge shows 1/4 of a tank but could the float be bad?

the positioning of the tank and fuel level sensor on the 4th gen camaro makes it so the gage drops really fast from 3/4 to e and some will run out of fuel between 1/4 and e depending on the car. my first 93 ran out of gas at just above 1/8 on the gage. this one goes to e but drops from 1/2 to e really fast. so you could be running out of fuel. are you seeing a check engine light? oh and i moved your thread to the 4th gen section for ya. welcome to the forum. enjoy.

How many miles on the car, and how many miles since the fuel filter was changed?
