Yeah, see the Street Strip racing section post a while back on "Three Way with a New ZO6" That was a grudge match for five grand with a new ZO6 that had headers and so forth.

My vette has done a ten flat with my son driving and did about 10.2 thereabouts that night with me driving. Our Camaro, of course, is faster, but then it is streetable only in the legal sense: it's a pig to drive on the street.

 

those are some hot times. what is a M6? is that just the type of rear differental? cause the all 3 cars had M6 in front of the rear diff numbers.

 

"M6" means manual six-speed transmission. Unless of course you are talking to a BMW enthusiast, in which case it refers to the "M" (very hot" version of the new "6"-series coupe, called the BMW M6, with the V-10 engine and 500 HP and a 6-speed. Great car, but it does the 1/4 in only 12.3, because it is so heavy.
