Default Picked up a new ride.

So, as some of you know, some lady totaled my SS not too long ago. So for the past few weeks I have been in search of a new car, specifically an LSx powered one. I searched good and hard for a near stock car, one that I could build up myself, and it was damn hard. There were some good deals for highly modified cars, but I wanted to do it myself. There were plenty of automatics, but I wanted a M6. There were plenty over 100k, but I wanted under (previous was 65k). There were plenty of non SS or non WS6 cars as well, but I wanted those two only. After countless hours searching, multiple phone calls, pms, emails, and a few trips, I finally settled on one. Went to see it on Monday, looked great, drove great. Threw him an offer on Thursday, wouldn't budge, called back on Friday and said I'd take it. $11k asking price. Under BB value without the mods...worth it IMO. After I get it cleaned up nice I'll be getting some pics. Paint is real nice, very clean car inside and out.

2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6. Black with T-Tops. Just under 95k. Mods include (from records):

Throttle body by-pass
Shock tower brace
Sub frame connectors
SLP Air Lid
Lou's Short Stick
Z06 Clutch + Pressure Plate + Flywheel
SLP underdrive pulley
Stainless Steel Dynatech Headers with catted Y Pipe and Hooker catback
BMR Lower control arms
(New wires and spark plugs at 57-58k when headers were done)

Dyno Tuned by CAM: 341.6hp/356.8tq

I really tried searching for another Camaro, but in the end I just wanted another F-body (though I did look hard for a good Corvette). The WS6 appealed to me because of the hood mainly, but this one in particular was just beautiful to me for some reason from the pictures with the tinted windows and polarized tops.

Planned mods:

1 7/8 Stainless Steel Texas Speed Longtubes (bought for Camaro, never installed)
True Dual custom fabbed exhaust (possibly stainless steel..we'll see)
New wheels...want CCWs, might have to wait - 275s/315s
MGW Short shifter + Hurst **** (already ordered)
Cam in future
Visual mods such as chrome inserts and lettering

Looks clean, I wouldn't have payed 11 for that many miles though. Did you browse ls1tech classifieds at all?

Don't worry about what I paid for it, I did my research for my area and others, I know what the cars are worth, and I'm satisfied with my purchase.

I posted it in one of my previous posts, but side swiped and pushed into another vehicle. No.
