does anyone know if there is a rear end from a different car that will swap out into a 4th gen. camaro? I am not afraid to do a little welding just need total width to be some what close. Any insight would be greatly appreciated thanks guys

 

not a direct replacement. you can get or make a 12 bolt rearend that will fit. 2700 bucks for a made up one. dont know anyone thats made one for themselves.

 

did you just want posi and disk brakes? z28 and ss rear ends are a direct bolt on i hear. I know moser and strange makes rear ends that are a direct bolt on also but cost a pretty penny

 

i agree with the Z or SS rear ends posi and disk its on the list for me

 

it is a z rear with posi already I have destroyed 3 of them I beat the hell out of the car! I called strange today yea 2400 bucks out the door ready to bolt on was looking for a cheaper alternative thanks for some of your input
