Default Passenger side speaker cutting in and out.

While I'm driving my passenger side speaker has been cutting in and out. I took the door panel off and checked the speaker, working fine. As I put everything back together I checked all of my connections which seemed to be good, and the speaker was now working. I drive down the road a bit and the same **** starts up, cutting in and out and crackling. Nearest I can tell is that I have a loose connection somewhere. I'm not a stereo guy and was thinking of taking it somewhere to have it fixed. Anybody have a ballpark idea as to what it'll cost, assuming it's only a loose wire?

do u have an after market deck?? if so u can pull the deck out and check behide it.. or what i have seen in other cars is the boot that holds the wires between the dash and door(can b seen when u open the door fully) could b pinshing the wirewhen u close the door.. As for cost it will b to much. aslo another thing u can do if its after market is switch ur speckers wires just ur front from right to left just to make sure its the wires... hope that helps.

I'll check the boot like you said. As for the stereo it's all stock as far as I know. The only thing the guy I bought it fromdid was put in an amp and a subwoofer.
