Passenger airbag removal
#2
hey auto, have you removed your old dash yet?? When you get in there is a metal cradle/housing that holds the airbag, i think you might have to replace all this. basically I ripped all mine out through the 'airbag' opening and then glued it back down without an airbag in Sorry I cant be more specific but it was about 2 years back, just take your dash off and it should be clearer

I guess ur right, took the car the to the shop a few hrs back, front clip is there, airbags are the last thing to change out so we`ll tackle that then. nearly fell off the flatbed when i was driving up the tow truck....that woulda been fun. did the volcano ash get you maudy?

As far as dashboards go my camaro was pretty simple, the hardest part was cutting all the electrical tape holding the wiring to the dash. After i finaly figured out the it was tape an not anymore screws or bolts. I got a razor and gave her hell.
I took my seats and center console out made life a little easier.
Pay attention to what wiring goes where, and be careful of any yellow wires (airbags)

dash removal, start with the electronic, undo the clips and harnesses for radio heater all the other stuff. then two main bolts at the bottom left and right of the dash. there is a support on the bottom middle with two bolts, probly will have to remove center console for those, get yourself a flashlight and look under the dash there is some things. wiggle and wobble the dash to find where it is still connected. (you will be on what you think is the last screw/bolt.... and you will find more lol)
the biggest ***** for me was all the main wiring is taped/connected with plastic push-ins, to the dash, some pliers and a razor and a rubber arm with eyeballs in the hand will be most usefull.
dont break the plastics
watch out for that windshield
edges of some plastics are SHARP! watch out.
not a pro but thats about how i did it. cant think of a better way. pay attention to where everything came out unless you want a creaky dash.
hope this helps and good luck!
