OE radio?
How many CCA's is present battery?
Mine is 700 CCA, up from stock rating of 650 CCA's, most I could get for the group size, aka, Group 75.

Yes, it's the stock Delco AM/FM with CD player. The battery is a brand new Interstate MT-75 650 CCA. I pulled the orange lead out of the plug and the drain went away. Of course the radio doesn't work without it.

Appears you have found the drain.
Wonder why so much?
Maybe another member can measure the current drain of their Camaro.

It appears that the '94-'96 AM/FM radios with CD player are pretty rare. Does anyone know if the '97 and later radio will fit in the opening and work. It looks like the plug is the same. The mounting bracket is different but I'm sure that can be modified. They are a lot easier to find.

97-up dashes are different, plugs do look same and seemed to me they wire up same when going to aftermarket. havent wired up the 93 in a while.

I replaced the stock '95 radio with one from a '97 and up. The wiring is identical. I just had to flatten the ear on the right side of the new radio and pull out the small tab so it locks into the dash where the old nut and bolt were. I had to make a 1 1/2" spacer and use a longer bolt to connect the ear on the driver side to the dash. The hole lined up perfectly. A pretty simple job for anyone who wants a stock look rather than an aftermarket radio. As you can see by the picture there's a slight gap on the right side but with a little more adjustment I'm sure I can get it to look better. By the way the new radio fixed the parasitic drain.
