Default Paint job

Anyone had there paint redone lately? I was wondering, what the price range probally will be for a bumper to bumper.

depending on who does it and what quality of job done i would give a range of 500 to 6000. dollars.

i got a quote from maaco for a full body with minor body work for $680

and that's maaco and the job won't be perfect. i had it done last year from a really nice body shop and it cost me 4 grand with no body work to be done

I recently ( like feb ) had the front 3/4 of mine painted for $400. No body work at all was needed.

Doesn't matter what the price, DON'T go to maaco. Your paint will last a little over a year and their warranty isn't worth the paper it is printed on.

I have heard that before ! hmmm maybe it was you that said it before?

there are some good maaco places and some bad and as they say u get what u pay for. less sometimes. i asked around when i needed a cheap job and found a maco place that did a fair job. not what i would want on the z.

I had mine done with a few little minor bits of body work done. Took it to a local custom paint shop and paid 2k for the job. He did a very nice job, and added the ghost flames that I wanted on it. Over all I'd highly recommend you find a local guy with the skills and talk to him first. Even if he's not the guy he could point you in the right direction for sure.

i have also heard stories about maaco and someone in the club im part of had their dark green TA painted black for $1000 and its decent. He said hes had it for 3 years and now starting to show age.
