Default Paint color/scheme idea, thoughts?

Hey all, new here, but far from new to f-bodies lol. Anyways I'll get right to the point:

I have a 96 camaro, everything stock at this point that I recently purchased for $500, runs and drives fine, but it had been recently repainted...craptasticly so in fact. Theres orange peel everywhere, and its very bad, the person didn't scuff any jambs, so everythings peeling around them, etc. Sooo, I'm putting a new paint job on her. Already have everything about 90% stripped, sanded and ready to prime almost. Got a new interior for her for $60 (Ya I know, I always find good deals though lol) Everythings torn out and ready to shoot within the next 2 weekends, maybe prime by next weekend if all goes well.

I have my colors picked, black and yellow, and a gold pearl mixed into both, kind of a reverse bumble-bee, black with yellow accents. I've already decided That I'm painting the middle body line that goes around the entire car yellow, as well as racing stripes from the hood all the way to the spoiler. Now what I can't decide is if I want to just spray the jambs black, OR be different and spray them yellow for a pop. I was already thinking about doing the roof trim on the doors yellow possibly (the metal trim piece that separates the jamb from the roof)

So what do you all think, keep it simple and black, and hit it with that bright yellow for a good eye catching pop? It's not like it's going to look like I half did the paint because all the other accents and stripes will be yellow too...hmmm...

Few more details: The hood has the stock wanna-be air scoops, but I'm planning on down the road making a foam mold off of them and using the hood lines and then making fiberglass scoops that I can bolt on, of course they will be yellow lol. Also I'll be carefully slicing the roof off to make it removable, but thats later down the road. Yes there will be subframe connectors, and stiffeners. I plan on stealing all the t-top hardware off of a donor car, then using that for the latching mechanisms for the roof, something I once did on a 3rd gen that looked amazing.

Anyways, hit me with feedback, good or bad, thoughts and opinions are always appreciated!
