p0113 and p0147

p0113 and p0147
my check engine light came on in my 96 rs 3.8 and i had an obd code reader and the p0113 and p0147 codes came up. My question is, what electrical problem is causing these, second is it something I can replace myself? Third , where in the engine are the parts that need to be replaced?

deal with the 113 first
Trouble Code: P0113
IAT Sensor Circuit High Input
Trouble Code Conditions: DTC P0101, P0102, P0103, P0116, P0117, P0118, P0125, P0128, P0500, P0502 and P0503 not set, engine started, engine runtime over 3 minutes, MAF sensor less than 8-15 g/sec, VSS less than 5-7 mph, ECT sensor more than 140ºF, and the PCM detected the IAT sen
Possible Causes:
IAT sensor signal circuit is open between the sensor and PCM
IAT sensor signal circuit is shorted to VREF or system power
IAT sensor is damaged or has failed (it may be open)
PCM has failed
Trouble Code: P0147
HO2S-13 (Bank 1 Sensor 3) Heater Circuit
Trouble Code Conditions: DTC P0101-P0103, P0107, P0108, P0112, P0113, P0117, P0118, P0121-P0123, P0125, P0171, P0172, P0174, P0175, P0300, P0336, P0401, P0440, P0442, P0446 and P0449 not set, engine started, ECT and IAT sensor less than 95ºF and within 11ºF at startup, engine run
Possible Causes:
HO2S heater ground circuit is open or has high resistance
HO2S heater power circuit is open (test O2S fuse in fuse block)
HO2S heater element is damaged or has failed
PCM has failed
Trouble Code: P0113

IAT is intake air temperature sensor located on the intake runner somewhere. Do yourself a favor and pick up a haynes manual for your car and study it a little. Knowledge will make repairing/replacing things on your car much easier. Also, check out this site for most everything you need:
