Obviously I don't personally have anything, but I've only heard good things!

no i don't have anything from lloyd...however i will in the future. plenty of guys have had great success using his stuff. another place you could check out is www.advancedinduction.com heard nothing but good things about them as well. either one of those will set up a build for you to meet your goals. just get ahold of either of them. lloyd and i have been emailing back and forth for about 3 months now. i send him a paragraph...he sends me 3 paragraphs back explaining things, great guy

MAMotorworks.com has an LS1 housing at 80mm, which is just 5mm bigger, and includes no screen anyone seen any wider and include a screen? I assume the stock one cannot be reused in the above setup, and certainly not if it's bigger...

Don't worry about an aftermarket MAF, they don't get you anything. You'll be better off getting a new MAF housing that has a larger diameter, the sensor is the same. Check out Mid America Motor Works website in their LT1 Corvette section for a new housing.

The LTX and the LSX use a different MAF. FAST makes a 90mm for the LSX series, but you need an intake manifold to accommodate for it. You don't need that kind of flow until you get into some serious power adders anyway...

To the OP: You can also check out www.dragonraceengineering.com that's where I'm going to be getting my parts from (mostly because they're local, Pete is great and they get some great numbers) and talk to them about potentially setting up some parts.

So at what level do you consider "serious power adders"? At 350 HP? 400 HP? More?

400+ RWHP before you need a 90mm FAST intake and TB is probably a good estimation. You already have the LS6 intake manifold and I would doubt that you're outflowing your TB. You could check around and see if anybody is attempting to sell an 02-04 Z06 TB, they have a larger diameter than the LS1.

Dude, read the original post. NO S/C, turbo, or nitrous for my build.
