Ok, so you all talked me out of the Flowmaster 80. Any of you have experience or know about either of these mufflers?

Magnaflow all the way!

 

My friend had Magnaflow on his 02 and loved it. Now hes got an 01 SS with glasspacks and they sound awful, hes switching them out for more Magnaflows. Ive got Flowmaster 10 series on mine and they are LOUD! The drone only goes away cruising above 65, but I dont really mind the sound of a loud engine

 

anyone else?

 

I have the magnaflow. the link you put is for the #12266, mine is the 12267 but the only difference is the outlet pipe diameter. I Love the sound. here is a video of my Magaflow muffler, everything else is stock. al i did was have the muffler welded in, and custom pipes bent.

 

i feel like that is the wrong muffler for the 98-02 LS1 cars. i have 3" factory inlet exhaust, the 12266 is 2.5" inlet. the 12267 was 3" in, and 2.5" out.

 

ok, thank you. So I have the 3" inlet with 2.5" outlets? My exhaust is all stock. 93 LT1

 

im not entirely sure on the LT1. i think the LT1 has 2.5" inlet. I do know that they are different, and that ebay page is wrong saying that it fits all. but I am positive that the Ls1 has 3"

 

Throw up a sound clip with what ever muffler you use so we may critic it.

 

I like the sound clip above quite a bit.
