You get what it originally was.

It won't take a pro to sniff you out. Imposters are easy to spot. Do you have the SS spoiler, airbox, and SLP muffler?

its a z28, but z28 badges on it. I dont care if you do have the SS hood, spoiler, stripes, whatever; that car is a z28.

SS doesn't really mean much for these cars anyway. The only mechanical difference is a more restrictive airbox and different muffler. GM enjoys fudging numbers so realistically there isn't much of a performance difference unlike the supposed 20 hp gain.

If it's a Z28 it should have Z28 badges. I think the Z28 badge looks cooler anyway.

I realize this but it doesn't change the fact that it is not a SS. The RPO code is for a Z28, the customer who bought it originally paid for a Z28.

I know and I agree that incorrectly labeling your car with the wrong RPO is stupid. In addition to that the SS badge doesn't mean much in terms of street cred because the performance gain between the trims is marginal. It makes you look like a bigger fool when someone realizes it's an impostor.
