I still cant get an answer on swapping a 5 spd into my 3.4 auto. Opinions on work involved aside, has anyone done this and what parts are all involved. Specifically clutch components, i know what you need for a civic or accord, but no clue on the camaro. Any help PLEASE! BTW i have searched and cant find any decent info.

as long as you are using a five speed that was bolted up to a 3.4. It would think it would be as straight foreword as getting a five speed and a clutch for it and using it on your car. However I don't know if the computer is tuned the same and you may have to change the gears in your rear end, typically automatics are higher geared than manuals from the factory.

You do not need to change the gears in the rear but you computer is setup for a standard. I am not sure what year yours is but I think they are all computer controled shift point. That means you will need a computer/wiring harness that will work. Also how are you with sheet metal? You will need the section of the floor the shifter boot bolts to. You will need to remove in reinstall the petal set. You will have to drill and mount the clutch master cylinder. After that It all pretty much bolt in. The slave cylinder is all contained inside the bell housing.
