wow, i feel really stupid asking this, i never really knew much about it, but the m6 that comes in our cars...which ones did they come in, i never knew..nd how could i tell if mine has one or not? cause my buddy asked me if i had a t56 or a m6, i said t56 cause thats what i assumed all of them came with, but like a selected few...nd is the m6 better than the t56 or somethin?

 

You are right to feel stupid[sm=youreright.gif]... m6 means manual 6, the t-56 is the m6 f-bodies came with....

i didnt know if there was a diff. i thought they were two diff. trans, i had no clue, ive know it as just saying its a t-56, then i my friend asked me if it was an m6 or a t-56, i had no clue, oh well..thats what this board is for, learn somethin new everyday

 

lol its all good, and if he asks you who made it, its a Borg Warner, although I think some of the later t-56s were made by Tremec, dont quote me on that kuz my memories a little fuzzed ATM
