Hi all, I have recently developed a " oil leak" from my my 97 3800 v6, engine runs perfect, good oil pressure but having to top up a little on longer runs, I have also developed a noise which sounds like a supercharger whine or turbo, car runs perfect and trans perfect, but it is clearly loosing oil from one or the other! are there any 1st points I should be looking at, many thanks Trev.

 

oil pressure switch/sensor at the front of the engine is common fail.

 

A serpentine belt tensioner bearing going south will give what sounds like a blower whine.
