Oil issues need help

Default Oil issues need help

not quit sure on all the information about the car since i just got it from my dad its a 1999 camero. when you start it and hit the gas oil will come out the muffler. any ideas on why would be helpful. Some people i have asked said it was bad seals but i dont now for sure

It may not be oil at all. It is likely condensation mixed with carbon buildup in the muffler. Is it the same viscosity as oil?

we just put oil in and started it and uses a paper towel on the muffler and it was new oil that we just put in like its just running straight out

Ouch. That could be a case of too much oil in the engine, faulty seals, clogged PVC valve or something as extreme as a blown head gasket or cracked engine block. Check the easy stuff like the oil level and PVC valve first.
