Default oil changing problems

so i went to firestone the other day to get my filter and oil changed and they told me they couldnt cos my oil pan plug was broken or something. they said they tried pulling it out and it got stuck or something and if they took it out it might not go back in. so i think they said i have to buy a whole new oil pan or what ever. what do u guys think i should do? i think i might have been having oil leaks for a while.

Taske the silly plug out and replace it with an oversize one. Most parts stores carry them. The one in there now is probably cross threaded and hard to remove. The oversize one will cut a new set of threads as you screw it in.

NO, it won't fit! Sounds like you want to fix the problem by talking about it. We told you what to do, but apparently you don't like the solution. If you want to change the oil pan, it will be costly, not so much of for the pan, but for the labor. You can get a new pan at most parts stores or from a GM dealer.
