Default Oh, the miserable interior !!

Well, having finally picked the car up after having the AC pump etc replaced due to it catching fire not long after I got the car home after buying it !!
We have now put a nice day trip behind us and my suspicions about things like the cup holder and the absolute cheesy dash and trans tunnel material and the total lack of area where I can hang my phone and the wonderful little cassette holder space for a car that doesn't have a cassette player, I'm wondering if any of you fine chaps have found ways around these snags.
I have looked over the interior pages and there's no mentions of any of these problems which makes me think it might just be me.
I never had these pains in my ol" 3rd gen Camaro.
If you have pictures of your interiors, please help a fellow Camarist out willya ?

Hi neighbor, they don't call them a ****box for nothing. I don't daily drive mine so it doesn't bother me any,I do wish the windows didn't rattle when half down though.

There is nothing cool about the plastic fest that is the 4th gen interior but to be fair to the designers at the time creature comforts in a sports car made the car a joke. When you look at some of the high end sports cars of the time there was no place to even put your wallet.

My 04 GTO has 2 cup holders and a console and that was about it. On the plus side at lease they wrapped everything is leather. I do think the 3rd gen had it right in terms of the mix.

These cars have great interiors.
I dont understand your problem.

1. There are two options for your phone. Glove box and console.
one even locks in case you have low self control.

2. There are 2 front cup holders, big enough to hold a slurpee, as well as 2 for the rear seats
how many do you need?

3. There are cut outside in the console for cassettes and CDs as both were available at the time.

Not sure what else you would be looking for. I much prefer the 4th gen over the 3rd (I've owned both).

The cup holder in the early 4th gen would not even take a mug and there was 1 in the car total. GMs fix was to take away some of the leg room on the later 4th gens. Keep in mind the passenger was already dealing with the famous Cat hump taking away leg room. I am a camaro fan boy but GM lost a lot of sales to Mustang in the 90s even tho the car beat the mustang in almost every type of race.

The 3rd gen set records for sales when the 4th gen was designed performance was a driving factor not styling or comfort. It was a complete failure on the marketing side and lead to dropping the camaro. in 02.
