Default oem bumper gaps

so as some of you may know, i wrecked my car in january of this year. ive tried to rebuild my front end myself...but i bought a set of ebay bumpers and fenders. There is a huge cap (1-1.5in) between the bumper and the headlights and some other weird panel issues. could this be from the front end conversion or the low quality of the parts? if it would help, i can take pictures... thanks in advance

if they are factory oem parts they proably just need adjusting if they are aftermarket they want fit right
if the bumper and fender is used it could just be 10 yr old plastic like i was told these car arent perfect from the factory

Unfortunatly none of it is OEM. so i should probably get on finding a wrecked 98 or 99and take its front end minus the hood

I think I remember hearing some folks complain about the halo headlights not lining right up with the bumper. I think that is a little more than folks have observed.

That looks exactly like my car when I repaired it. White primed hood, grey fender/bumper. I had the same problem. The body shop guy did a decent job fitting everything together. Does the hood sit slightly lower than where it meets bumper right above the badge?
