Default O2 sensors wrong size??

I'm in the process of changing my oxygen sensors on my 1995 3.4L (I'm not even sure if they're bad or not), but the new ACDelco ones I bought are a lot bigger than the old ones. This is a problem because the tool I bought to change them with doesn't fit over the new ones completely. I changed the passenger side one already, and it's tight; it's definitely not going anywhere, but I don't think it's as tight as the old one was. Do these things have to be all the way down? or will it work as long as it's in there?

In the pic, the one on the top is the new one, and the one on the bottom is the old one.
Should I just go with the old ones? Does the old one look bad?

Unless someone is pulling some sort of trickery on me, they're ACDelco and are the correct size. It is quite strange to me that the new ones are so much bigger though.

go to rock auto and have a look at the different sensors for your camaro. it looks just like the bosch. acdelco doesnt look like your new one or the old one for that matter. yours look like 95 vintage.

This is where I got it from, but you're right it doesn't look like the ones on the rock auto site. Wonder why that is....
