i tried searching but found nothing. where can i buy the o2 elminators if i run an off road y-pipe

 

The O2 eliminators, usually referred to as O2 sims,take the place of the downstream O2 sensors (after the cat). They are available from Summit, Jegs, and other vendors. You still need the upstream O2 sensors in order for the engine to run properly.

You can basically make one for a few bucks. The second O2 sensor typically is not important for AFR readings, its only purpose is to detect a difference in exhaust flow (which will be impeded, by a catalytic converter) between the first and second sensor. So, all you really have to do is move the sensor slightly out of the stream of exhaust from the pipe. Some people weld on properly threaded nuts, tubes, or the little spark plug defoulers.
