so we did a swap from a 98 to a 2001 at a car at my school and we finally got everything together, or so we thought. we tried starting it from the key but that didnt work so we just went through the starter relay now it just cranks with no spark or fuel. the fuel lines have plenty of presure, the ckp is communitcating and my last guess would be the vats anti theft system, but that still leaves why there is no spark. anyone have any suggestions. thanks for you time!

 

Anti Theft system would be a great place to start. Ignition needs to be ON with the correct key in place.

 

VATS kills the starter and injectors. Is the fuel pump working?
