As i was getting home from work, i was driving and suddenly my check gauges was on and it was the battery it was extremely low ! i got home the car turned off and now doesnt turn on, i just replaced my battery 2 months ago! any ideas?

alternator is most likely the problem. take it off and have it checked. charge the battery and u should be good to go.

i would almost go get your alternator tested if its not charging anything its going to drain your battery you can also check your battery with a voltmetter it should be around 12.6 volts when its off and if you can get it started it should be over 14 volts ps what year is your car

ok nevermind then cuz with older cars if you get it running and take the positive off the battery the car will still run if the alternator is good but your is too new to do that

unhooking the battery while the motor is running can harm the alternator.

He's right if u doconnect the battery while the car is running it will throw the alternator into max output and can damage it the only safe way to test one is to do voltage drops on the system
But you have to be able to start the car so the only other way is take it off and have it tested but it sounds like u need a new one
