You know, the 3.8 is plenty for a 19 yr old -- a V8 is just likely to get you in trouble at your age -- improve what you already own -- you can get a LOT more enjoyment out of it. Learn to save some money and invest it for your future...

you keep trying to argue a moot point. no one here is anti v8 and no one is saying screw ls1s. the op has stated he is not and was not interested in putting a v8 in his base camaro. accept it and move on.

I might even sell mine for a 99-04 GT. i like to change things up. but i also change my mind alot. My camaro had to be for sale atleast 6times in the past 8months. I never know what i want.

yep lol, if your gona crash something make it a gt. to stay on topic, you could have 273 or 323s check your production codes for gu2(273) or gu5(323). production codes are a list of three digit codes that are made up of letters and or numbers. the list is in the glove box, in the center console or on the door jam.

Your just going to feel the same way when you get the V8 after awhile. I feel that my V8 is slow but yet I know when I go head to head with someone I can win. Its all mental.

Sounds like to me cheeks might be nominated to do a write up for the swap... this way a ton of questions can be answered (how to swap? which to swap? is this an easy swap? what parts needed? etc...) aaaannnndddd we can end the discussion.
Personaly, if there were a write up, i would be delighted to stickey it and give full credit to the author.
