Default No fuel

I just bought a 98 with 3800 in it. It was a stolen car at one time and yes i do have a title for it. I spliced the power wire back together and had a key made. It will start if I spray starting fluid in it. I disconnected the car alarm(code alarm elite 2100) which doesn't seem to kill the fuel pump. I cant hear the pump fire and there is no fuel pressure. I checked for power back at the connections where it exits the car and I had one wire with power. How many should have power and which ones? I usually buy a haynes manual but haven't got one yet. Thanks in advance.

Go to the library. They have the Chiltons manuals on file. Photo copy the pages and its cheaper than buying those pc of **** haynes books that tell you enough to get you in trouble.

Easy way to find out if your not getting any fuel. Take the fuel lines off. You can buy the tools for $15.00 for both of them. Its a 3/8 and 5/16 line. Pop them off and then put the key in the on position. If you are getting fuel, you will know it when you turn the key. It will spray out of the hoses. Just make sure that your drop lite is outta the way and your not smoking.

I checked the pressure at the line by pushing the schrader valve in and no fuel at all. I will try your idea about the library. Free stuff is always better.
