i put the plugs to the engine block but the spark looked WEAK... so i went to autozone and had to special order an "OEM/In line ignition spark tester" (6.99) because they dont carry them in store anymore... so ill update how the spark looks on the 21st when it gets in (hard to do plug on block trick by yourself)

You have to probe for a pulsing ground from the PCM. The injectors get constant power and the PCM provides the ground.

the ignition control module is BRAND NEW and i took the coil packs to the parts store and they said there is no way to test them....
i didnt relize i left this out but just now when i tested the spark the light "blinked" on the first one i tested and then after going to every plug (getting no spark) i double checked the first one i tested and no spark on that one either...??

and i just tested voltage/ground which im assuming is the black/pink plug going to the ICM and pink is getting 12 volts and black is ground good
