Some of you debating the advantages of superchargers and turbochargers, may find it interesting that according to an artcleby SAE (society of automotive Engineers)the Eaton TVS 4 lobe supercharger, used in the LS9, approaches the efficiency of a turbocharger, only drawing 300 Watt ( 1/2 HP at cruising speed). http://www.sae.org/automag/techrepor...1-116-2-26.pdf

yeah they really are sick, i saw one at an auto show around here. theyre really amazing

 

seen it at the detroit auto show. You have to see it in person up close.

That new Eaton blower is going to be amazing. Since it's smaller and more efficient than any before it, maybe we can finally find some place to fit it under the stock hood!
