Hey guys, i got my 3rd camaro and this time its a 98 z28 really excited to get it fixed up- it was wrecked, but i have some questions about the z28 model cars- mine is also a convertible. So i was wondering do you guys know if there are boots for the convertible top, or if thats an aftermarket thing? Also from the factory it had the body kit on it, my 96 also had that kit, but i'm missing the rear piece and the front piece, any suggestions on where i should get these pieces? i know the years they change go 1993-1997 then 1998-2002 they put on a 2 piece front. I have noticed on ebay like 1 rear but its like 200 bucks and that seems outragous for a urethane strip, i also noticed aftermarket VIZAGE kits, one of my skirts got smashed in the wreck so i will need 1 new side skirt, has anyone bought these vizage kits? are they worth it? bolt up easy, look decent... i honestly don't want this car to look ricy, my 96 had the factory kit and i thought it really gave more to the body, so i wanted to stick with a stock looking kit.. or get stock skirts for the front rear and one side. I have also heard that there werent that many z28 convertibles, anyone got the specs on how many were produced?? i have a camaro book but it doesnt specifiy how many convertibles were z28 and how many were v6. Any help is appreciated... IAM SO GLAD TO FINALLY HAVE A Z!!!!!!!!
