Default new window motor

just ordered a replacement window motor for my driver side. i have looked at and read the guide on shbox.com and it looks like it wouldnt be too dificult, but at some points it does. anyone with past experience have any tips or anything so simplify it? or is it pretty much straight up. thanks guys

I just replaced mine a couple of months ago, and I went by the guide. Just take your time and do exactly like it says, and you should have no problem. Mine took me about an hour

I agree. They aren't bad at all. If you do run into any problems, Let us know.

Just make sure you don't drill out the wrong rivets!

I picked up one from the local auto parts store and it came with 3 small screws with lock washers to replace the rivets. They were in a little small plastic bags that can easily get lost.

Yeah, it should come with 3 screws and washers, like osduck said. You can just get them at the hardware store if you need to, just get whatever size you need for the drill bit you use to drill the rivets out. And funny you said something about drilling the wrong rivets, I did that..lol. I wasn't taking my time and I started drilling the first rivets I saw, so I had to repair those with some epoxy putty. So taking your time really IS important..lol
