Default A new type of exhaust question

So I'm looking at getting some mid or maybe long tube headers etc. Etc. The whole shabang

My question is which muffler will provide decent flow without being too loud especially about 1000-2500 rpm, I'm looking to go as quiet as possible here just for personal preference, it'd be really nice if there is one that's nice and loud up high but decently quiet down low

magnaflow mufflers are quiet and are still a straight through design for maximum flow

Put on your big boy pants! Quiet is not an option when you got a V8, LOL. FD is right, the Magnaflow is probably your best option. I would suggest Flowmaster for the sound, but I read mixed reviews about the flow.

unless uve done this before and decided u didnt like it, i would say get something with some growl.

I would get on youtube and streetfire and listen to sound clips. I will agree with you that some exhaust systems sound a little obnoxious when they bark under 1/10th throttle. sounds like those cars are constantly in race mode and I want to give them a downer to chill the hell out.

my borla sounded really good with the headers, and it came with plates for one side to adjust the sound. it is pricey, but if you want good sound and the ability to customize the sound to your taste it is what i would recommend.

Magnaflow sounds good, I just couldn't go with a flowmaster, I go to a school where people think "flowmasters" means omgomgzors +600 horsepower I just couldn't do it lol

And I wanna be quiet not only because the police around here are tight but like said above I hate sounding like race mode especially below 3000ish rpm especially driving in town, I also can't stand annoying people in neighborhoods because I, a teenage camaro driver do have some empathy lol

I have deleted cats with a Borla XR-1 dumped and I love it! Great for enterstate driving and in town! It's nice and quiet under 3grand, has a really nice rumble at idle, and has a REALLY great tone when above 3Grand and WOT! I just put it on last weekend and I drove to Austin, TX and it's great! My Mom(which I am visiting) lives in a subdivision and last time that I came down here with my SLP LM1 it was way to loud! The XR-1 is just great!
