Default New Saying Hi

Just new around here a little sketchy trying to navigate through the forums, im on some other forums but this one seems remarkably different. I was trying to do a little research for a buddy of mine with a Camaro. He has a 2002 M6 Z28 with the LS1. From what I understand he has a catback on his car, and recently upgraded his throttle body from the stock (58mm?) to a 80mm, and got the appropriate mass air flow sensor to collaborate with the hgher flowing TB. One of my questions is how much power should he be looking at. I understand theres several types of dynos that produce higher and lower results from one to another, and other things like conditions that affect read-outs as well. Im just looking for a ballpark figure. Another question Im looking to answer for him is whether or not anybody knows of a member or reputable tuner on/around this or another camaro community with HPTuners. My friend lives in Northern delaware and would ideally be looking for somebody with the HPTuners suite about 30 mins or less from Wilmington, hes become apparently very interested in having his car tuned and needs somebody to do it. If anybody could point me in the right direction of a tuner and five me a ballpark figure for the amount of hp/tq he should be pushing with the above mods itd be greatly appreciated.
thanks
Berg

If it is untuned it should be around 290-310 at the ground give or take.

Note to that. Most LS1's put a little less then 300 to the ground a few have pulled above 300sstockbut most dyno a little less 280s give or take few. With his mods i would say he probaly picked up 10 to 15 at the ground. A good shop in NC is RPM they are one of the best F-body shops on the east coast and they do have a in house dyno. Guys have picked up good numbers on near stock and bolted Fbodys with there tuning.
