Default New member-need some help

Just got a 2002 35th anniversary SS convertible with a 6 speed trans and about 15k miles. Car is like new, but it has a clicking sound coming from under the glovebox. It clicks every 8 to 10 seconds. I have dropped the glovebox and have put my hand on a bundle of wires and can feel the click coming through a plug going into a black box. It feels and sounds like a relay clicking. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That might be your body control module,it controls the electric windows the radio etc.
From what I've found it's an obsolete part at GM and no aftermarket replacement is available.
There are youtube videos showing how to repair them with a soldering gun or there's a repair service on eBay.

Thanks for the info. It seems like a likely suspect. I will do some research on it and hope to do some hands on this weekend

Default Update

I finally got a chance to work on the car and found I had a blown courtesy light fuse. Since the car is a convertible I guess I did not notice the interior lights were not coming on. Once replaced the clicking from the BCM stopped. Unfortunately, once I fixed that my driver side window started working on it's on schedule. Before the fuse replacement it had been working flawlessly.

Fuse may have blown due to a BCM issue, sure sounds like it's repair/replace the BCM time.
