Hey i'm new here but I need some serious help. I have a 1998 3.6L Camaro, ran great! loved it. One day i drove everywhere and then i got home, shut the car off, tried to start it. Nothing- Absolutely nothing happened. full lights/radio and everything but the engine doesn't crank at all. I took out the relay and jumped it through there with a wire and it started up but it shut right off after about 5-10 seconds. Do you have any ideas? no check engine light on but i do have a security light blinking. Thanks!!

 

check all grounds....sounds like it may be a bad ground. Things to check could include: ignition module, coil. Could be a corroded battery cable or low amperage in the battery- which would cause the anti-theft to go kinda wonky. some ideas without hearing any diagnostic work.
