Scan successful. Codes:
P1171
P1441
P1626
P1661
P0137
P0161
P0300
P0400
P0430
I crossreferenced them all for the definitions already so here what I've determined:
1: The fuel pump is failing or the the fuel filter is clogged. I'll change the filter Sunday or Monday.
2: Whoever did the exhaust removed the cat and didn't tune it out. No big deal. No emissionsttesting in Michigan
3: The egr valve is bad or tube need cleaning. Ill let the dealership handle that one.
4: They somehow disabled the check engine light. Doesn't bother me cuz i understand cars and can scan it if i detect any problems.

If changing the filter doesn't help I'll have the dealership change the pump for me. Also on a side note, i have 1 fog light on my car and this irritates me. Its not the factory original either. Looks like the mounting holes are still in the bumper. Does anyone know of any good fog Thats that'll work with no/minor modification? Oh and I also have no high beams... Lol

after changing fuel filter and testing fuel pressure i would start by looking to find the vats issue and the evap problem. then go after the 02 sensor problem.

test the evap system https://camaroforums.com/forum/lt1-l...-system-51219/

test and/or by pass vats

1771 lean fuel
1441 evap fail
1626 vats fuel pump enable signal lost
1661 failing indicator lamp
0137 02 sensor low voltage
0161 02 sensor heater failure
0300 multiple random misfire
0400 egr low flow
0430 cat fail

As far as i can tell there not much i can do about the o2 sensors because they are the post cat and the cat has been removed. I don't care anyway because the post cat sensors don't have any other purpose besides monitoring the cat. Which isn't there. But thanks though. But seriously an suggestions about my lighting issue?

it sounds like that vats may be stopping it from starting.

bulb may be burnt out or judging by the past owners record, unplugged. be best to go through the car and find all the modifications and if you wish to keep them the way they are have the computer tuned to them. place like this LT1 PCM Tuning - OBDI/OBDII PCM Tuning/Programming Service

I think I'll try to get the dealer to do me a light tune up while they have it too to kill that misfire. Spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Unless that running lean Issue was causing the miss.

dont just do the cap and rotor, its not that much more for the unit. the base of the opti has circuits and sensors that fail so even if you changed the cap and rotor the opti still may fail at any time and most likely will sooner rather than later.
