New guy needs help with interior lights,
We have a 2000 Z28 "SS" convertible
Until recently we have only had the car out during daylight hours,
After driving the car home after dark, I noticed that I do not have courtesy lamps
in the footwells. I have searched under the dash & center console & cannot locate
an empty socket or burnt out bulbs. I know it's a small item & I'm hoping someone
may have some intel.... thanks,

It's strange how people take things for granted, but I couldn't remember the courtesy light locations so I had to look it up in the owners manual. According to the manual, there are no footwell lights, just two map lights on the mirror and a dome light on coupes or on both rear trim panels of the convertibles.
