Ok so i am not getting a new car but it is going to be like a new car, as of right now the motors is out of my 2000 WS6 and a cam going in, not sure of specs but its a comp cam and also they are done with installing 3.73 gears, i am hoping it is going to be a completley different driving car, but im worried about that as well. Sorry just had to vent some excitement, i cant wait til monday, anyway they said it would be done then.

 

Oh ya and then once i get it home the 315/35/17 BF drags are going on, cant wait, feel like a little kid again.

 

Who picked out the cam? Did you do any research before approving of the one they picked? They could be putting in the totally wrong one for your car which will kill your performance. Not to rain on your parade, that happened to a friend of mine. He has the LS1/automatic and they put in the hot cam which is designed for a standard. The thing dont do **** until he reaches 3000 RPM. With all the time and $$ spent, now he needs a stall converter. He also went with the LS6 heads and headers. Its all in an 04 GTO. The car wont even break them loose from a standstill.

 

I know where you are coming from but they have done quite a bit of work on these cars and really know what they are talking about, they know a lot more about it then i do and that is why i left it up to them, they do some pretty sweet work, they sure made a diffrence in my duramax
