got a full tuneup today including the ignition coils and the little rough idle stopped the rpm meter doesnt randomly jump anymore the pickup is insane was just ACDelco plugs and wires. It seems to be running very good now, now i need to start working on the cosmetic portion of the car and my left blinker blinks now but when i complete the turn doesnt shut off the right one does though.

I stated before that i had received a full tune up and the rpm meter jumping and they little shake from the car is gone. Car runs so much better the pickup is great driving it feels great but there is this bizarre sound coming from the car i dunno what to make of it almost like a gargling sound or some strange noise it seems to go away if i start the car and let it sit there. But if i give it a little gas i hear it come back and it will fade away again if nothing happens but the second time its even more faint than the first time not sure what it is. Was not hearing this before the tuneup not sure what it could be not 100% where its coming from but it sounds like under the car like some exhaust work but i just had the cat converter fixed also not sure.

can you make a recording and post it. exhaust leak usually sounds like a miss or tapping noise.

craby my best friend lol.. ok the sound i was speaking of went away after driving it more after the tuneup. Today i was driving this was the first day it was kinda rainy and humid and when i made it to school i noticed smoke coming from my hood it was light could have well been steam which i hope it wasn't a huge amount and it had no smell at first. If i get really really close like open the hood and try to smell it i have a very bizarre smell thats ive never smelled before someone asked me if its a sweet smell and its not but its not a bad smell either not sure. And i had something leaking from underneath i touched it, it was like a light brown translucent liquid.

Could it be power steering fluid leaking? It could be leaking and just burning off causing the smell and smoke.

My camaro's tranny needs to be rebuilt(only has first and second gear) and it leaks like crazy. The smell of the fluid burning smells very distinct, and I definitely have never smelled anything like it, before. After I leave it running for a while, a light smoke will come from under the hood/the side of the car. I believe that's just the smoke from the burning transmission fluid.

when i mentioned(over the phone) it to my mechanic he thought power steering fluid also or brake. but i told him its only done it today and its the first day it was rainy he said it could just be steam so not sure. @CamaroDMen is it a nasty smell or what? and do you have a automatic or manual.
I usually only use it to drive to school and back so today i decided to gun it a bit give it some gas and a few times i did it get around 60pmh+ it seems like it wants to hiccup gives me the idea it wants to stop and sometimes i gun it and go that fast it doesnt do it makes me think about exhaust work again

I have an automatic transmission, and the smell is very nasty. Bitter and a smell that makes you scrunch up your face, if you know what I mean.

@craby there is the noise it came back you can hear it really well at :32+ and 1:05+
I dont actually need to give it any gas to hear it but it does seem to make it louder for sure. There is also some exhaust problem you can tell when i give it a nice amount of gas wasnt to worried about that ill get it checked out but that sound bothers the **** out of me. also it wasnt humid today and i didnt see the smoke i spoke of earlier from the hood so ill assume it was just steam

take the belt off and see if it still does it. if not then it has something to do with one of the things driven by the belt. idler, alternator, power steering, a/c, tensioner. if it keeps doing it then its in the motor or trans. if thats the case then its a search to find the source.
