New 1996 Camaro Owner(Ideas and Thoughts WANTED)
hey im new to the forums i just bought myself my first car which is a 1996 Camaro since the day i brought her home i found this website its only been a week. Been looking everyday finally decided to make an account and stop by and introduce myself and more or less ask what was the first upgrades you guys made to your car. Within this first week only thing ive gotten is a K&N CAI because that was very simple. I wanted to know what are the first things people think about getting done to there car when they first acquire it you have inspired me to really fix this car up and make it something special. The exterior is in excellent condition the interior needs some work done sits are ripped etc just want some ideas so i know where to go. Thanks in advance OH its red btw

i like to start by changing all the fluids oil, tranny, coolant, brake and rear. now i know its not a upgrade but you will now if there are any problems your not aware of and you will have a clean start. also if you the car has high milage you might want to consider changing the plugs and wires

Anyone know what would make my car when idle seem like im kinda lightly pressing my foot on the gas. I feel it sound like it wants to move its very very small but you can notice it and the RPM meter moves a bit not anything drastic but it seems odd or could this be normal im not completely sure.

A nice investment before you do too much would be to pick up a code reader. If your car is idling funny you could check to see if it is throwing a code. Then, you will be on the right track to resolving that and any other issues.
And, welcome to the red, 1996, V6 Camaro ownership club! I've had mine for 10 years and enjoy every minute of it. I'd like to see some exterior and interior shots. How many miles does it have on it?

Get it scanned -- codes? Sounds like your TPS.
