Default needing advise on parts swapping

There may already be a post about this but I havn't seen a full detailed one on other site so here it goes.
Me and my wife has four Camaros. 3 being made in 1998 and 1 being a 1999.
My wife of 26 has had her first camaro since she was 15. A blue 98 ttop v8 . Faded and well broke in. Last year we decided to invest in a parts car to redo a lot of problems on hers interior wise. We first came across a red 98 hardtop. Good TITLE, Flawless condition, one owner, garage kept but had a blown 3.8L motor. Dash said 93,000 miles and car only had one registered owner. Owner wanted it gone so we snatched it up for under $500. We decide it would be horrible to rip it apart for a few parts so we went on search for another hoping we would find a motor in the process. Few months later we snagged up another clean title red v6 98 hardtop for $300 cruising the back roads a town over, but sadly no motor or trans. We finally got our parts. Months later we ran across another camaro. A 99 v6 hardtop with a 5speed tranny for around $500. Drove it home over 160miles with no promblem. Salvage title and dirty interior.

So my first question is can I use the motor out of the 99 and put it in the 98 using the 98 manual trans instead of the 99 five speed? Would I have to use the same intake that came on car? Heard the throttle body or something was different...would the manual trans work on a motor that came with a 5 speed if so?
Second question...the 99 has manual Windows and switch delete plates on door panels. Was that an option in 99 or was it put in by someone? Can it be used in a 98? (I prefer manual over electric)
And last question...If the motor swap is possible what would be good to change on the 99 motor before dropping in the 98? Spark plugs, wires, belts, fluids, etc??

I believe the only thing that's different would be the pcm on either car so you would want the pcm from the 99 too, with the trany not sure, someone elce will chime in ,I would get ..remaned 3,8l if that 99 is in such good.shape get a reman gm 3.8l k vin for $2049 ,00 long block ebay free shipping used engines are crap shoots, then you got a great used 2 owner for 2500.00 with brand new engine

Just use the long block from the '99 and use the all the old parts from the '98. It's a drop in at that point. You can use either trans.

The manual windows was an option though rare from what I've ever seen. You can swap out the parts. Like you, I don't mind having to reach over to the passenger side to get the window up/down.

Also, unless there's a parts through the block...the engine isn't "blow up". I bet the intake and/or head gaskets went. If the original owner parked it right away the engine is salvageable without a complete rebuild.
