I have a 94 Z28 that needs a dash. I've posted on here before about it. I found a 1996 Camaro that has thrown a rod that I could buy for pretty cheap. My question is, will the 96 dash fit into my 94? I know they look different but it's pretty much the same exact car that they are sitting in right? If you have any knowledge on this subject, please let me know.

Also, the 96 is a 6 speed, which I've always wanted. So, if I were to switch the engines between the cars, how much would it cost to have it done for me? Thanks in advance for any information you may provide for me.

 

As far as I know, the dashes are interchangeable fit wise 93-02. Wiring may be different, I don't know much about early 4th gens.

 

I guess I forgot to mention that the 96 is a Z28, so it'd be swapping two LT1s.

And to specify, I kind of figured that you could set the dash in my 94. I was just wondering if it's going to bolt in at all the same spots?

And lastly, which way do you think would be less expensive for me? I'm having it done professionally no matter if I swap the interior or the engines.
