Default need help!! abs inop light on

My ABS Inop light came on after car has sit for a month with dead battery, so I took it to auto zone to have ABS codes pulled and they found no codes. Today I did notice one of the bulbs in the third brake light was out so I replaced it, Abs light still did not go out. I have checked WSS and they all appear to be ok, fluid good, and ground seems to be ok. I'm at a loos hope someone can help.

Depending on how up-to-date Autozone's code reader is, it may not be able to pull ABS codes. A good garage or dealership should be able to read it no problem. More than likely, it's one of the wheel sensor kicking it.

Advance Auto by me has a code reader that scans ABS, and its free... Be certain the scanner used specifies that it reads ABS codes!!

Light on and no codes should not be possible. Even if the whole system was fried you should get no reply code (can not connect). Most likely the scanner was not compatible.
